Dr Alicia Franklin

Dr Alicia Franklin is a registered Psychologist and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Australian National University. In 2010 she completed a Bachelor of Business Administration and Arts-Psychology (Honours) at Macquarie University. Alicia is passionate about improving the lives of others through the application of evidence-based positive psychology and education. She has gained research and clinical experience across a range of educational, organisational, and health settings. Alicia has been responsible for facilitating stress-management programs with the NSW Police, assessing leadership, engagement, and performance across a range of organisations, and working with individuals and groups to improve mental health outcomes.

Alicia’s research interests broadly encompass the role of positive psychological factors such as mindfulness, optimism, hope, self-compassion, and growth mindsets in enhancing the well-being and performance of individuals, schools, organisations, and communities.
