Thesis: Influence of Teachers’ Interpersonal Style on Student Outcomes in Physical Education
This thesis aims to analyse the effect of need support from the teacher on primary school students’ outcomes in Physical Education. Self-determination Theory points out that students’ perceptions of teachers’ interpersonal style can influence students’ experiences in PE. In this thesis, apart from affective and behavioural outcomes, special attention will be given to cognitive outcomes in PE (eg concentration, use of learning strategies).
