Dr Jessica Fulcher completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) at the University of Western Sydney (UWS) in 2008. In 2009, she was invited by the School of Social Sciences and Psychology at UWS to undertake a PhD, receiving a UWS Postgraduate Research Award. Jessica completed her PhD in 2014 which investigated Affect Regulation in Deliberate Self Harm. Jessica’s professional experience includes working as a University Tutor in the fields of Health and Psychology, Intern Psychologist, Support Officer at the Black Dog Institute, and Volunteer Teacher’s Aide at Redbank School. Jessica has the following research interests: affect regulation, complex behaviours, child and adolescent psychopathology, and well-being.
