Positive Education

Can advances in educational psychology enhance social and emotional capability, as well as learning skills?

In this program we apply robust empirical research to explore and test the effectiveness of the latest advances in educational psychology.

We examine whether, beyond schooling, positive education can lead to higher life satisfaction, general self-efficacy, and better functioning at critical life transitions and developmental stages.

The program also addresses equity issues related to student characteristics (eg disadvantaged communities, gifted and talented children, students with special needs) and to teachers and their teaching practices.
